Volk Optical Inc. is a leading 　　U.S.　　 based manufacturer of lenses and visualization systems.  Volk sells its products to eye care professionals  through a global network of over 150 distributors.  Recent growth has created the need for a Regional Manager, 　　China　　.  Volk Optical offers a small company environment with the financial strength of a multinational parent - Halma Holdings.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing our business across 　　China　　.  The successful candidate will successfully manage distributor relationships while growing revenues and profits in the region.  Extensive travel within the region is required, as well as some overseas travel for training and exhibitions.　　

Desired Abilities and Experience:　　

·         Sales experience in ophthalmic multinational companies highly preferred　　

·         Channel development / Managing distributor relations　　

·         Proven history of growing a sales territory　　

·         Strong balance between sales and marketing skills　　

·         Strategic thinker that can implement plans successfully　　

·         Ability to conduct training on technical products　　

·         Science/Anatomy/Healthcare or Ophthalmic background preferred　　

·         Experience working with physicians in a hospital environment is a plus　　

·         Ability to travel within the region and attend training in the 　　U.S.　　　　

·         Chinese and English language skills required
