Development of Ophthalmology Residency training Program in Pakistan

Purpose:
The Purpose of this study is to assess the need of development of Residency training program in Ophthalmology in Pakistan.

Methods:
The Study is based on evaluation of existing system of training and comparing this with Residency Programs conducted in developed parts of the world and develop the guidelines to convert the existing system to the new system.

Results;
The study has discovered certain pitfalls in the existing system which need to be rectified through the new system of Structures Residency training programme.
