Conclusions Perforating injury of eyeball was the main cause of severe endophthalmitis. Vitrectomy with endotamponade is a good method for the treatment of severe endophthalmitis. The Postoperative VA is associated with cause of endophthalmitis, VA at presentation ,isolation of organism, removal of lens and the type of endotamponade.
