Purpose: To reduce the size of large congenital iris cyst in 3-months old child to clear the visual axis and thus avoid amblyopia.
Methods: Epithelial iris cyst treatment with intracystic ethanol irrigation.
Results: The cyst clinically decreased in size by 1 day after Ethanol irrigation.
Conclusion: Epithelial cysts can be managed conservatively in selected patients with good results but where cyst is large enough early surgical intervention should be considered in children to avoid grave visual outcome.
