Purpose: To report the best unaided visual acuity (BUVA) of moderate astigmatism in myopic patients after wearing overnight reverse geometry (ORG) contact lenses
Methods: There were 3 patients (5eyes) treated with the overnight reverse geometry(ORG) contact lenses.The base curve(BC),Fitting curve(FC) depends on the flat k and Rx.The lens diameter is 10.6mm. Case1 is a 17 year girl: Rx OD S-2.25D C-3.25 x 180; OS S-3.00 C-3.25x180; OD& OS Flat K is 8.30, k is 7.80.
Case2 is a 7 year boy: Rx OD S-5.50D C-1.50 x180; Flat K is 8.00; k is 7.65; OS-6.00
C-3.00 x180, Flat K is 8.15; k is 7.60.
Case3 is a 17 year girl: Rx OS S-4.25D C-3.00 x 180; Flat K is 7.85; k is 7.34.
Results: The BUVA obtain 6/6
Conclusion: The ORG contact lens is an option of decreasing not only myopia but also moderate degree of astigmatism
