When known, both functional and anatomical labels are provided. Each subsystem is a closed-loop negative feedback control system that is responsive to its own particular input as well as to the outputs of the other two systems as indicated. Both the accommodative and disparity version subsystems receive inputs from each other, and the pupillary subsystem receives inputs from both of the others. Because the aperture of the pupil directly affects the depth of field of the accommodative system, a dotted feedback pathway is shown. |
