To present the long-term history of four cases of idiopathic polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (IPCV), which is a peculiar form of choroidal neovascularization in the inner choroids. Methods: Prospective cases series observational study. We follow four Chinese patients of IPCV in our clinic for 12 to 37 months, and herein present their different clinical pictures and visual outcomes. Results: All of the patients were diagnosed when polypoidal dilatation of the choroidal vessel was identified under indocyanine green angiography (ICGA). Two of them presented as repeated hemorrhagic RPED and subretinal hemorrhage which resolved completely during follow-up and had favorable visual outcomes of 6/10. However, the other two showed massive retinal exudates and hemorrhage which couldn’t resolve during follow-up period despite treatment and left poor visual outcomes of counting fingers and 6/60. Two different patterns of polypoidal dilatations at the terminal of branching vascular network from the choroidal circulation were found in ICGA. One is a large solitary round aneurysmal dilation, the other is a collection of small aneurysmal dilations resembling a cluster of grapes. Conclusions: Research and report about IPCV in Chinese patient are rare. We present four Chinese patients of IPCV in Taiwan with different clinical pictures, ICGA findings and visual outcomes. Further study for the etiology, clinical courses and treatments of the different subtypes of IPCV in Chinese is necessary. 寄上參加世界華人眼科會議GCOC 投稿壁報展示(Poster),論文摘耍如附加檔案。
