| Application ability of HRT-II on early glaucoma diagnosis |

| Objective: To evaluate Heidelberg Retina Tomograph-II(HRT-II) application ability on early glaucoma diagnosis. Methods: 120 eyes with suspected glaucoma were examined using HRT-II,Humphrey750i perimetry, Optical coherence tomography (OCT), ophthalmotonomete, and so on. Consistence of HRT-II examination result with glaucoma disgnosis were observed. Results: There were 8﹪glaucoma,50﹪suspected glaucoma and 42﹪non- glaucoma in 72 eyes with the result within normal limits of HRT-II. There were 9﹪glaucoma and 91﹪suspected glaucoma in 66 eyes with the borderline result of HRT-II. There were 53﹪glaucoma and 47﹪suspected glaucoma in 102 eyes with the result outside normal limits of HRT-II. Conclusion: The result of HRT-II takes a very important reference role on the diagnosis of early glaucoma. |
