Study on the clinical application value of plasm ET-1 and VEGF in DM patients

evaluatethe levels of plasm ET-1 and VEGT in different clinical types of DR .
The indexes were measured in 96 cases with retinopathy and 144 cases without retinopathy as control. It was performed with ROC curve.
The AUC of ET-1 were 0.742 in the mild retinopathy, 0.723 in the moderate and severe NPDR, 0.857 in the PDR. However，the AUC of VEGF were 0.296 ,0.297,0.293 .
ET-1 was significantly more than VEGF in diagnosing different types of DR. |
