球内异物66年白内障术中脉络膜上腔出血1例

A 76 yrs man who complained of progressive blur vision of left eye for 10 years was admitted. He described clearly being accidentely stuck on his left eye 66 years ago. VA was counting finger in left eye. Anterior segment examination of the left eye showed a clear cornea with a small stromal scar outside the visual axis, a small defect in iris at 4 oclock and a brown opaque lens.B-scan ultrasonography showed a highly echogenic mass located before the retina. A plain X-ray suggested the presence of a matallic IOFB. |
