| [Abstract] Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and mechanisms of ocular manifestations related to tumor of nasal sinuses. Methods The general clinical data and related ocular manifestations in 103 patients with tumor of nasal sinuses .Results In the 103 patients, 56（54.4%）had ocular manifestations. There were 23 benign tumor of nasal sinuses patients including 8(34.8%) with ocular manifestations, and 80 malignant tumour of nasal sinuses patients including 48( 60%)
with ocular manifestations. Statistical significance was found between benign tumor of nasal sinuses and malignant ones。While there were no significant differences among various pathological types and positions of tumor of nasal sinuses.
Conclusions Tumor of nasal sinuses, especially malignant tumor of nasal sinuses
could lead to ocular manifestations, and onset symptoms in some patients with tumor of nasal sinuses were ocular manifestations. Ophthalmologist should pay more attention to ocular manifestations results from tumor of nasal sinuses. |
