| The clinical significance of the diagnosis of HRCT in the Fracture of Optic Canal |

| [ Abstract] Objective:To evaluate the clinical significance of HRCT in the detection of fracture of optic canal.Methods: 22 cases of the factures of optic canal were performed HRCT.The CT features of fractures of optic canal were analyzed.Results:all of them in 22 cases were fractures,which included 15 cases (68.2%)of fractures in medial wall ,1(4.5%) in lateral wall,1(4.5%) in superior wall,2 (9.1%)in inferior wall and 3(13.6%) in compound fracture. The fracture were divided five types on CT : ①concave ; ②lineal ; ③comminuted ; ④inlay ; ⑤mixed.
Conclusion:HRCT can improve diagnostic ability of fracture of optic canal and provide reliable imaging information for selecting treatment plan. |
