| Purpose: To evaluate the age-related changes in ocular higher-order aberrations using Tracey wavefront aberrometer. Methods: Ocular higher-order aberrations (HOAs) measured by Tracey wavefront aberrometer in 58 eyes of 58 emmetropic subjects. Results: For a 5.0 mm pupil, total HOAs, spherical-like aberrations and total coma increased with age. Conclusions: Higher-order aberrations increase with age for a larger pupil, and the spherical-like aberrations may play an important role in this change. |
