A systematic approach to identifying, defining and validating the unmet medical needs of glaucoma patients regionally and globally will be presented.   Unmet medical needs of the primary open angle glaucoma patients and care providers will be highlighted.  Response strategies and research targets that are focused on addressing the unmet medical needs of glaucoma patients will also be presented.  A general research and development pipeline strategy will be presented that highlights areas of external collaborations.  The patients are waiting!
