Objective: To select the drug to treat dry eye, two rat models of dry eye were established. Methods: In lacrimal function forfeiture, rat lacrimal glands were excised, then tear secretion were measured and cornea were observed on 1st, 10th and 20th day. In lacrimal dysfunction, rat were injected atropine (0.5mg/ml) 0.1ml under dermal between two ears, then measure of tear secretion were performed before injection and at 0.5, 1,2,3,5, and 8 hour. Results: In lacrimal function forfeiture, the tear secretion of delacrimal eye was less than that of normal significantly on 1st, 10th and 20th day. In lacrimal dysfunction, tear secretion decreased at 0.5 and 1 hour, and recovered at 2 hour, and was normal at 8 hour. There were significant differences at 0.5, 1, 2, 3 hour with before injection. Conclusions: Tear secretion could decrease in two dry eye models as selecting different drugs. |
