Abstract Objective Evaluating the clinical effect of treating ischemic central retinal vein occlusion (ischemic CRVO) by panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) with 532 nm Green Laser. Methods According to the results of fundus fluorescence angiography (FFA),33 cases (36 eyes) had been diagnosed as ischemic CRVO and been observed; and PRP were performed on the cases. After PRP, the cases were examined fundus every 2 weeks, and were performed FFA every 3 months. The regular follow-up lasted for 6 ~ 12 months. Results The visual acuity of the cases was improved in 8 eyes (24.2%) after PRP 6 months, and no changes in 23 eyes (69.7%), and decrease in 5 eyes (15.1%); and 27 eyes (81.8) were proved effective. Conclusion It is safe and effective to treat ischemic CRVO by panretinal photocoagulation with 532 nm green laser. |
