| [Abstract] Objective To probe the clinical manifestation and treatment of ocular myasthenia gravis. Methods The clinical manifestation,laboratory examination, thymic CT and treatment of 84 cases of ocular myasthenia gravis hospitalized from 1998.7 to 2005.7 were retrospectively reviewed. Results 84 cases aged from 2.5 to 70 years old , the positive rate of AchR antibody was 27.6% , and 64.3% of thymic CT was abnormal , About 48.1% of anticholinesterase administrated patients was healed; 66.7% was healed with the hormonotherapy , 51.9% was healed with the thymectomy. Conclusions ocular myasthenia gravis is often occurred in levator palpebrae superiors, also can occurred in other ocular muscles. Thinking of patient’s clinical findings,we can give anticholinesterase medication, hormonotherapy or thymectomy . Patients were better response to it. |
