Object To described a case of bilateral retrobulbar cysts on MRI
Method Review the MRI of a case with bilateral retrobulbar cysts
Result A two-month-old infant was referred to our orbit clinic for bilateral proptosis noted since her birth. Orbital MRI demonstrated the bilateral retrobulbar cysts with clear margin and homogeneous signal, which were low signal in T1 weight and high signal in T2 weight. The orbital tumor resection has not been performed and no histopathological diagnosis available.
Conclusion To our knowledge, bilateral retrobulbar cysts are an extremely rare condition. Its clinical and imaging features have been well described.
