目的  观察玄麦润目汤治疗干眼症的疗效。
方法  将60例干眼症患者随机分为治疗组及对照组，对照组采用人工泪液点眼，治疗组在此基础上加服玄麦润目汤。观察2组患者治疗前后的中西医临床总疗效、泪液分泌试验、泪膜破裂时间和角膜荧光染色。
结果  治疗组的中医证候疗效、泪液分泌试验与对照组相比，差异显著（P<0.05）。
结论  玄麦润目汤口服联合人工泪液点眼治疗干眼症，安全性较好，有一定疗效。
Objective  To observe the clinical efficacy of XuanMaiRunMu Decoction in treating xerophthalmia.
Methods  The outpatients（n=60）with xerophthalmia were randomly divided into the treatment group treated with XuanMaiRunMu Decoction combining with and the control group treated with artificial tears.The total curative effect， lacrimal secretion test，break-up time（BUT）of tear film and corneal fluorescein staining were observed in two groups before and after the treatment.
Results  The comparison between two groups showed a significant difference in the curative effect of TCM syndromes，lacrimal secretion test（P<0.05）.
Conclusion  XuanMaiRunMu Decoction combining with for treating xerophthalmia is effective and safe.
