Purpose: To investigate the characteristics of SD-OCT findings of patients with central retinal artery occlusion by a retrospective study. Methods: A retrospective and descriptive study of OCT results of 42patients with retinal artery occlusion. Results: There are increased reflectivity and thickness of the inner sensory retina and decreased reflectivity of the outer layers of the retina and choroidal layers. During follow-up, the SD-OCT changes return to the normal state slowly. Conclusions: SD-OCT prompt the recognition of central retinal artery occlusion and also us more time to rescue the emergent event. |
